Get the look: Teodora Sutra
We know we're all about to go mad with Kate Moss-inspired festival wear.
But actually, if you're standing in a mucky field, with the potential to be rained on, this look from top model Teodora Sutra is a far more inviting proposition. Not to mention the fact that it's much more stylish than all the denim cut-offs and fringed suede - festival favourites we're already thoroughly sick of.
I am keen to get a white summer dress. I want something I can wear to work, but everything seems to be too short, or is more suitable for the beach. Could you suggest some options? I don't want anything with exposed shoulders or cutaway panels, and ideally, I'd like a dress that is to the knee or below.
Answer: A shirt dress can be a good way to go when it comes to white dresses; the tailoring element diminishes the 'beach holiday' factor. Maxi dresses tend to be loose and very casual, but Marks & Spencer has a nice tailored maxi dress, with a slight mandarin collar, cap sleeves and drawstring waist, in white, €90. J Crew, see jcrew.com, does this sort of 'American preppy' thing really well. They have a lovely cap-sleeved shirt dress in white, with a tuxedo bib-front detail, €232.19. It's cotton, waisted, and falls to the knee; they have it in 'petite' and 'tall' versions. Cos has a slightly trapeze-shaped white dress, €59, in a stretchy cotton jersey. It's just above the knee, but the T-shirt-shaped top is quite formal.
