Get the look: Steve Garrigan and Diana Bunici

Could anything be cuter than Steve Garrigan and Diana Bunici? This is the stuff that The Kooples ad campaigns are made of.
Her slightly 60s style perfectly complements the Kodaline lead singer's classic good looks and dress sense, which makes a welcome change from male musicians in tattered skinny jeans, a miserable little scarf and a waistcoat. Love's young dream gives us a look most people could pull off, and look the better for trying.
Question: I want a new pair of dark trainers that, at a push, I could wear to work. So they need to be smart, and non-gimmicky.
Reply: Our absolute favourite in this line are New Balance 574. Schuh has them in black, with white details (laces, side of sole and logo), €87. Nike's Air Max 1 Ultra, in black, €120, Life Style Sports, are also very discreet. Everything is black, bar the side of the sole, which is white. Also at Life Style Sports, Puma's Trinomic R698 in black, €80, are very subtle and have that chunky sole - almost a wedge - for those who hate a flat, plimsoll-y look. Also look at adidas Originals Superstar, €90. They're white, but can be worn with dark tailoring. As part of its Best of British line, Marks & Spencer has a discreet pair of black suede trainers, €135, if you want something in the style of New Balance, but without a big logo.
