Get the look: Danielle Ryan
Entrepreneur Danielle Ryan is a perfect example of understated style. She is seen here on the red carpet at a launch party, in a situation that many women would throw the sartorial kitchen sink at.
Her outfit consists of jeans, a coat and a handbag, but she looks easily as good as anyone in full glamour mode. Better, even, one might venture?
The granddaughter of Tony Ryan, and daughter of Cathal Ryan, has that enviable attitude to clothes: she never trys too hard, and makes classic, timeless pieces look fresh and stylish, rather than the safe and dull option, as is sometimes the case with others.
I'm looking for a plain nude, covered-toe, wedge-heel shoe for spring and summer, preferably in leather, to wear with jeans and jeggings. I don't want anything dated-looking. I'm approaching the end stages of pregnancy, so comfort, but with good height, are key considerations.
Dune would be our first port of call for something like this, as the label is not too trend-driven, but not dowdy, either. It has a pair of nude espadrille wedges, the Alondra, €50, with a good height, in nude leather. Kurt Geiger has something similar, that is a shade lower in height, €125, Arnotts.
