Feline good in luxe lingerie separates
ONCE described as "underwear to get arrested in", the latest collection of the frivolous Mimi Holliday lingerie line was modelled by Eva Ward and Nadia Forde at the launch of a special pop-up shop yesterday.
The Lingerie Room at Brown Thomas on Dublin's Grafton Street is the exclusive Irish supplier of the super trendy brand from now until Christmas.
The line by London-based designer Damaris Evans is meant to be "very sweet, sexy and tongue in cheek", she told the Irish Independent following yesterday's launch.
Even the name of the line is a bit of risque fun, she said. "It's my porn name. The name of my first pet, my cat Mimi, and my mother's maiden name."
While her main lingerie line simply named "Damaris" spares no expense -- with knickers priced up to £5,000 (€5,841), the samples here cost considerably less.
The frappe bra, modelled by Eva Ward, costs €60, with suspenders priced at €38 and knickers at €42.
Nadia Forde wears a Club Tropicana baby doll camisole (€100) and knickers (€42) and right, a Bisou Bisou blush slip (€95).
