Rihanna is set to release an all-denim shoe range with designer Manolo Blahnik.
Manolo Blahnik were *the* shoes of the noughties when Carrie Bradshaw and co. put them on the map in Sex and the City.
However, it looks like longtime Blahnik acolyte, Rihanna, is set to introduce the brand to a whole new generation of shoe-obsessed fashionistas.
The Bajan singer has partnered with the iconic shoemaker to release an all-denim footwear range.
“The day I see a woman in the street wearing my shoes... I am sorry for that woman, because I’m going to literally run after her, shouting, ‘Stop! Selfie! Who are you? Where did you get them?’" Rihanna said in a statement.
"I’m going to have a moment!”
The shoe range, called Denim Desserts, features six limited edition styles, ranging from bedazzled denim boots to jewel-encrusted strappy mules -all made of sequins and artisan embroidery inspired by the singer's hand tattoos.
One of the most eye-catching designs is the up-to-the-thigh boot, dubbed 9-5, which Rihanna debuted on the March cover of British Vogue magazine.
"If you’re trying to get back home to your bed, don't wear them boots! You will get kidnapped in those boots, those boots are trouble," said Rihanna.
Prices range from €813 to €3632 and the one-off capsule collection will only be available for in-store purchases in New York, London and Hong Kong from May 5.
We have no doubt that they will sell out just as fast as her Rihanna x Puma sneakers - if you have a few thousand euro to spare, start lining up now.
