Madeline Mulqueen has wowed fashion onlookers as she joined her leading man, Jack Reynor on a global promotional tour of the eagerly anticipated film Transformers: Age of Extinction.
The model appeared in a host of cites around the world in the past week in a succession of stunning dresses, all from Irish designers.
On Tuesday night in New York, the brunette beauty stepped out in a knee length silver beaded dress by Louise Kennedy in a look that perfectly suited her pared back style.
However, it was the contemporary dress by the young Kerry-born designer Colin Horgan that the 23-year-old wore for the final Asian premiere in Beijing that has proved a real talking point.
The futuristic over-sized silk organza and leather number was a perfect choice for the premiere of a sci-fi blockbuster and corresponded with the minimalist style favoured in the Asian capital.
“It was amazing to see Madeline in one of my designs, I wasn’t sure she was going to wear it as I knew she had a range of options and my dress wouldn’t really be a traditional choice for a this sort of event,” the 22-year old designer told the Herald.
The rising star who has just graduated from the Limerick School of Art and Design is thrilled with the attention the dress has garnered.
“I’ve had a lot of enquiries over social media from China and Japan which is wonderful as I would be very conscious of that market when I am creating my pieces,” he said.
Styled by Laura Mullett, Madeline also wore two monochrome gowns by Offaly-based Geraldine O’Meara in Hong Kong and Shanghai. Nevertheless, the statuesque model likes to mix her wardrobe up and is also a massive fan of high street giant Penneys and stepped out with her actor fiance when they hit New York in an outfit entirely from the store.
The Horse Outside star wore a simple pink vest and black shorts accessorized by a statement necklace and turquoise clutch.
“The necklace in particular is one of her favourites,it can really make an outfit and is only €10,” said her stylist Laura Mullett.
