54 million album sales, 13 number ones, 8 Grammy Awards and now the face of Dior; watch Rihanna in the fourth instalment of Dior's Secret Garden short film series
We can't imagine Rihanna's latest fashion gig was much of a hardship; running around the breathtaking Chateau de Versailles clad in Dior seems like an evening very well spent to us.
The 27-year-old Barbadian singer is the latest celebrity face to join Dior, starring in the French fashion house's latest campaign - revealed a few days ago - and the accompanying video, which you can watch here in full for the first time.
Shot by acclaimed fashion photographer Steven Klein, the short film and ads are part of the brand's Secret Garden series, which is always set in the sumptuous grounds of Versailles.
Rihanna takes over from French actress Marion Cotillard for this instalment, and joins Charlize Theron, Natalie Portman and Jennifer Lawrence by becoming a brand spokesmodel.
More significantly, she becomes the first black campaign star in the Paris-based brand's 69-year history, something she has described as "such a big deal for me, for my culture, for a lot of young girls of any colour. I think to be acknowledged by Dior means a lot, as a woman, to feel beautiful - to feel elegant and timeless."
The video also allows fans a preview of latest song Only If for a Night, which features as the soundtrack.
