WHO knew modelling could be such a dangerous profession – as two models pose with a live 650kg bear.

The photoshoot was organised as part of an anti-hunting campaign.

Not only did the models have to contend with the ferocious animal, but also Moscow’s freezing weather.

Photographer Olga Barantseva captured the pictures.

He said: "We wanted to show the natural harmony between humans and bears."

The models posed with Stephen the bear, who weighs a whopping 650kg.

Models Maria Sidorova and Lidia Fetisova had to hug, cuddle and kiss the massive animal during the shoot.

Photographer Barantseva added: "It is about showing a traditional friendship - just like between two human friends - but between humans and the bears in Russia.

"We all need to live side-by-side in harmony and not hunt our fellow citizens who live in the forest."
