This Irish company just turned your most-used phrases into jumpers that will make you giggle
Have you ever thought to yourself, "I'm hilarious and why aren't there more items of clothing to reflect that?"
We've got you covered. New Irish company Large and in Charge jumpers have taken some of your favourite phrases emblazoned on jumpers that will last you well beyond St Patrick's Day.
Founder Lisa Regan said she started the company "after seeing one too many American phrased jumpers on the street and within our stores" and wanted to bring the Irish customer a product they can relate to more.
"I wanted to create and develop a sweatshirt that genuinely suits everyone, from small to large. Large and in Charge is a nod to humour, common sense and a touch of Irish culture too," she told Independent.ie.
"We are very funny people and love to connect and talk. We often don't even realise that we can pre-program our responses and conversations, but that is just another layer to the Irish psyche.
"Things like the weather, 'are ya busy?, and then seasonal talk like 'how are you fixed for the Christmas?; 'when is the mid term?'"
Her best-sellers include 'Mayo for Sam', 'Katle, Quinoa, Cocaine' and 'The boom is back' and Regan has been incorporating them into her own day-to-day wardrobe since launching earlier this year.
"The jumpers are fun but also great work so well with a pencil skirt, for active wear or paired with jeans. They are unisex so everyone can get involved," she added.
