This catwalk trend mixes fashion with chocolate

The words 'skinny jeans' and 'chocolate' together may have some running for cover, but what about when your skinny jeans are made from chocolate?

For ladies with something of a sweet tooth and a love for high fashion, clever chefs may have hit on something special.

Models took to the catwalk during the Beirut Cooking Festival to showcase the wearable food creations this week.

It might not be practical to wear clothes that are likely to melt if the temperature rises but it's certainly eye-catching.

The Salon Du Chocolat has been bringing designers and pastry chefs together since last year.

This year the creative teams were given the brief of '1,001 nights'.

Dramatic head-gear and evening wear was the order of the day, while colourful edible bikinis were also on display at the food festival, which is in its fifth year.

It took a team of 10 fashion designers and 13 chefs to pull off the collection.
