Young model Cara lands the ‘Rolls Royce of modelling contracts’as she is enlisted as the latest face for the high fashion brand's Autumn Winter 2014 collection.
Though the campaign will not be officially unveiled until next Tuesday, the 21-year-old could not contain her excitement any longer and posted a sneak preview to her Instagram account.
Regularly seen on the catwalk for the established French house, it is no surprise that the model-of-the-moment landed the coveted deal.
The British 'It Girl' has been a stalwart in Chanel runway shows since her debut in the Spring Summer Couture show in 2012.
While this is her first campaign for a mainline Chanel collection, she has previously starred in the Resort 2013 advertisements.
In a previous interview, Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld described Cara as 'the modern It girl'.
The revered designer said, “Cara is different. She's full of life, full of pep. I like girls to be wild but at the same time beautifully brought up and very funny.”
The urban-inspired campaign set in a gritty boxing club also features Binx Walton, with whom Cara stars alongside in the ads for Balmain.
