Meet Cate Blanchett's secret style weapon - and he's Irish.

The Australian actress dazzled in a mint green embellished gown by Armani and jewels from Tiffany & Co's upcoming Blue Book Collection and the man to thank for putting her incredible look together is Irish stylist Edward O'Sullivan.

O'Sullivan hails from Castleisland, Co Kerry and moved to New York in 1990 with "two pairs of pants and a sweater" and is now one of the most influential men in fashion.

As a former personal shopper at Prada and Head of Worldwide Celebrity Dressing and Entertainment at Missoni, his contacts book is a who's who of Hollywood and he has worked with everyone from Penelope Cruz, Tom Cruise, Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Lopez.

It's not just his clients who are A-listers - the 44-year-old counts supermodel Karolina Kurkova and designer Rachel Roy as close friends.
