Lingerie giant Victoria's Secret has announced their newest Angels, and among them is Stella Maxwell, a stunning 24-year-old who we can (kind of) claim as our own.
Stella was born in Belgium to Irish parents Stella Maynes and Maurice Maxwell, who worked as a diplomat.
The captivating beauty was raised between Belgium, New Zealand, Australia and the UK as her family travelled the world to follow her father's work.
Stella was discovered in her early teens in Wellington by her mother agent AliMcd and eventually relocated to New York to pursue a career in modelling after attending Otago University.
Her pixie-like features, ethereal charm and elegant 5'9" frame have helped her to land campaigns for Alexander McQueen, Asos, H&M, River Island, Urban Outfitters and Puma.
She has also appeared in editorials for some of the world's most high profile magazines such as ELLE, Glamour and various editions of Vogue.
The 24-year-old has said that she is all about the simpler things in life - American Apparel leggings, roadtrips with friends, vintage clothing and playing scrabble on her iPhone - however, now that she has been bestowed Angel wings and one of the most coveted contracts in the modelling industry, we're such life will be anything but normal for this fledgling supermodel.
