Limerick School of Art and Design gets the seal of approval from Vogue Italia
A design school in Limerick has been given the nod by one of the world's most exclusive fashion bibles.
Vogue Italia has run a feature on the Limerick School of Art and Design, which has produced some of our most esteemed designers including Natalie B Coleman and Danielle Romeril, praised their most recent graduate collection last week.
Limerick model Charlotte Casey features as the main image for the corresponding gallery, which praises LSAD as "one of the top 50 fashion schools in the world."
International stylists and buyers often frequent the graduate show to see upcoming designers, including Lady Gaga's stylist who famously spotted Sorcha O'Raghallaigh's work during the fashion show and she was later asked ti create some eye-catching looks for the superstar singer.
Other graduates have been commissioned by Rihanna and have been used in costume design for The Hunger Games, according to head of LSAD James Greenslade.
Vogue Italia previously featured plus-size model Louise O'Reilly on their website and 18-year-old model Aidan Walsh from Ennis, Co Clare, landed a coveted cover spot last year.
