Kate Middleton stuns in scarlet at reception during Canadian Royal Tour
Kate Middleton dazzled in a red cocktail dress on Monday night as she continues the Canadian Royal Tour.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore her most glamorous outfit yet; a scarlet, classic-cut dress by London designer Preen.
Kate (34) wore the dress for a reception at British Columbia’s Government House in Victoria on the third of eight days she will spend in Canada.
She wore her hair in a simple up-do, paired with diamond earrings and a diamond maple leaf brooch, in tribute to Canada’s flag.
The formal ensemble was a great transformation from the Zara jeans and Holland and Holland jacket the mother-of-two wore earlier that day due to downpours.
She was joined by her husband Prince William and around 200 other guests at the historic reconciliation ceremony with Canadian First Nations groups.
The Duchess landed in Victoria on Saturday evening with Prince William and children Prince George (three) and Princess Charlotte (one) in their first international engagement as a family of four.
A Kensington Palace spokesman said: ''The tour will see them take in everything from the bustling global city of Vancouver - population 2.5 million - to the emote and beautiful Bella Bella, home to less than 2,000 people.
''Along the way they will meet as many Canadians as possible, and will help celebrate Canada's First Nations communities, its arts and culture, pristine and beautiful environment, and its compassionate and innovative charitable sector.''
