Jessica Rabbit eat your heart out: Eva Longoria wows in figure hugging red gown
Eva Longoria looked the epitome of the term ‘screen siren’ as she arrived via Maserati to a film festival in Sicily last night.
The Latina is in Italy for the 60th Taormina Film Fest, and ensured all eyes were on her as she picked up an award for her humanitarian work on the evening.
The petite actress chose to wear a red Pamella Roland fishtail gown, emulating the iconic cartoon character Jessica Rabbit.
The 39-year-old teamed the look with loose waves, pear-drop diamond earrings, and disappointingly, some chunky black shoes.
While accepting her award, the high profile star explained all her philanthropic work with The Eva Longoria Foundation would not have been possible if she hadn’t gained household name status on the hit tv show Desperate Housewives.
“If it wasn’t for Desperate Housewives, I wouldn’t be able to have the reach that I have to talk to people in the world,” she told the audience.
Earlier that day, the Desperate Housewives star was papped in a form-fitting mid length leather dress- obviously not put off by the soaring Sicilian temperatures.
The dress, by Dsquared, was an unusual look for Eva, who routinely opts for classic silhouettes and figure hugging couture gowns. But we like it, and hope to look as good when we approach our 40th birthday.
The actress will next be seen alongside Ed Harris in drama Frontera which will be released in cinemas later this summer.
