Irish boy done good: Hozier graces the pages of US Vogue
From Wicklow's suburbs to the pages of the world's glossiest fashion bible - Hozier has officially made it.
The Bray native is proving to be one of Ireland's most successful musical exports of recent years.
Having wowed during appearances on Saturday Night Live and The Ellen De Generes Show, Andrew Hozier Byrne was embraced by the industry across the pond.
His singing prowess has garnered him a slew of awards and he was even enlisted (somewhat surprisingly) to perform at the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show last December.
Now, the statuesque singer is starring on the pages of US Vogue, cementing his status as one of the most important musicians of the moment.
The modest 24-year-old appears in the June issue of the magazine alongside model Caroline Trentini in a photo shoot which marries 1970s Bohemian fashions with a Rock n Roll/Americana vibe.
Evidently proud as punch, Hozier's manager Caroline Downey Desmond praised the star online.
"Love @hozier in the June addition of American Vogue. All the photos are fantastic. Hard to pick a favourite," she wrote.
