The title of 'Best Dressed Lady' for Hennessey Gold Cup Day 2015 was won by a Cork woman at Leopardstown Races yesterday.

Helen Murphy from Douglas received an exclusive Philip Treacy hat from his 2014 autumn and winter collection - the only one of its kind available in Ireland.

She was also presented with a €3,000 Design Centre voucher, along with a bottle of Hennessy Fine de Cognac.

Helen made her mark with the judges wearing a unique Miss Daisy vintage jacket, a Carol Kennelly hat and skirt and a top from Coast.

One of the most popular fashion events in the racing calendar attracted over 120 entrants. A host of celebrities enjoyed Gold Cup Day including model Roz Purcell, stylist and TV presenter Cathy O'Connor, as well as broadcaster and former politician Ivan Yates.

"With attendances up on last year, we're delighted to host such a great sporting occasion," said Leopardstown CEO Pat Keogh.

"We have one more date left in our national hunt calendar, and it has been a truly remarkable season."
