From pub owner to male model as Irish businessman lands fashion campaign

Irish publican Sean Cunningham has been given a high fashion makeover.
Cunningham, who owns New York City's trendy Brass Monkey bar, was chosen by equally hip label Rag & Bone to be featured as a model in their latest Spring/Summer 2015 menswear collection.
Rag & Bone boss Marcus Wainwright said they cast their friends, including celebrities like Jerry Seinfeld and Carmelo Anthony, to create clothing 'with character'.
“We wanted to create clothing with character. Ultimately, it is about each piece standing alone," he said. "We decided to cast our friends for a portrait series to showcase the looks to further illustrate the idea of individualism."
Managing partners Wainwright and David Neville opted for "workwear-influenced constructions and silhouettes" for their upcoming menswear collection, which also features female models, including their wives Glenna Neece and Gucci Westman,showing off the duality of their designs.
“It’s a pretty eclectic group," Wainwright added of the 'real' campaign.
"We don’t care if they’re recognisable. The point was to present a cross-section of people who we think are awesome or cool. You don’t have to be a celebrity to matter,” Wainwright told Women’s Wear Daily.
“The concept is rooted in the idea of reality. These are real people and this is the way they dress in their day-to-day lives,” Neville said.
“Our message for our menswear is real people in real clothes."
