Burberry ask Greystones teen Smal back for more
She became the first Irish face of an exclusive campaign for design power-house Burberry.
And the fashion giant was so impressed with Greystones teen Li Ann Smal, they have asked her back for more.
Li Ann, who is working full-time in London, was over the moon to discover that she is now the face of Burberry’s new beauty campaign after turning heads at the launch of their exclusive store in Shanghai earlier this year.
To mark the opening of its Shanghai store, the design label flew the 19-year-old over for a special runway show, alongside British superstar Cara Delevingne and model Suki Waterhouse.
She later discovered she had been chosen to be the face of Christopher Bailey’s limited collection for the Burberry brand.
But the slender brunette was back at work for the label in recent weeks when they hand picked her to front the new Fresh Glow B.B. Cream campaign from Burberry beauty.
“Li Ann has a beautiful and striking look but it’s her personality that really sways people,” her Irish model agent Anne Morgan told The Herald.
“She lives and breathes modelling and has this incredible enthusiasm which is really infectious on jobs.”
The 19-year-old, whose mother hails from Malaysia, is also on the books with Storm in London, the agency which represents Kate Moss and recently signed to top Spanish company, Traffic Models.
The dark-haired beauty has been modelling full-time since completing her Leaving Cert last summer and has been represented in Ireland by Distinct Model Management for the past two years, enjoying a host of top magazine shoots, including Elle.
