Irish model Aidan Walsh has revealed the hickey on his neck on the cover of Italian Vogue is very real.
In the name of fashion, the 18-year-old ballet dancer turned model was a seriously good sport in order to get the right shot.
Walsh, from Ennis, Co Clare, made headlines yesterday when he landed the cover of Vogue Italia and dished about his most high profile gig to date.
"They decided they wanted a lovebite on my neck," he told The Ryan Tubridy Show on RTE Radio One.
"I thought they were trying to do it with makeup, it didn't look very realistic.
"they tried pinching it and that was red, but that went away.
"They decided the only way to actually give me one was to psychically give me one.
"One of the makeup assistants had to physically give me one on my neck."
The talented teen said he had "no idea" his image would be used on the cover, but spoke of his excitement at the photoshoot, which started at 8am and didn't wrap until 2am.
