The pretty young faces of Burberry's new Bloomsbury-inspired collection
Cara Delevingne and Suki Waterhouse stun in new Burberry campaign.
The stars are currently two of the hottest names in the fashion industry, and often upload photos of each other having fun backstage at fashion shows on their various social networking sites.
But the new Fall/Winter 2014 campaign for the British brand marks the first time they've posed together for a campaign.
The stunning photos were shot by famed photographer Mario Testino and feature Burberry's iconic trench coat. It also debuts Burberry's folk-style pieces that were first seen on the runways at London Fashion Week in February, a show which both models walked in.
Wearing hand-painted coats and holding patchwork bags, the two beauties look both high fashion and completely relaxed with each other.
Burberry's chief creative and chief executive officer Christopher Bailey bestowed the honour on Cara and Suki to bring the spirit of the brand to life.
"A dynamic British cast brings the artistic spirit of the campaign to life with the iconic Burberry trench coat at its heart," Christopher commented, reports British newspaper The Telegraph.
Suki, who dates Hollywood A-lister Bradley Cooper, recently spoke about her long standing friendship with Cara.
"We've known each other since we were kids, so now, when we're working together, it never feels like I'm on my own," Suki gushed to British newspaper Evening Standard.
The two fashionistas are joined by rising model star Malaika Firth, who starred in Burberry's Spring/Summer 14 campaign too.
The trio of beauties are complimented by male models Callum Ball, Tarun Nijjer and Oli Green.
Cara is also busy with other aspects of her career. As well as dipping her toes into the world of acting, the 21-year-old supermodel is also trying her hand at designing.
Cara and DKNY are collaborating on a capsule collection, due to hit stores in November.
"I can’t believe that some random, rough ideas have finally turned into my own collection… designs with my own name on them and in collaboration with the iconic DKNY brand,” Cara told WWD.
“It is so wild to realise that it has been an entire year since we began planning this project together…goes to show that time does fly when you’re having fun.”
