Tally ho! Mairead Farrell stuns in Irish designs at Royal Ascot
Today FM presenter Mairead Farrell is practically an old pro when it comes to Royal Ascot style.
The popular broadcaster was dressed to impress as she mingled with royalty at the most stylish racing event of the year yesterday.
Wearing a tailored duck egg blue dress and matching court shoes with a cream fascinator and clutch, she clearly took note of the struct dress code when it came to her wardrobe decision for the day.
Farrell made her first visit to Ascot last year, with her partner Louis Ronan.
Today, she posted a photo of herself at the event, attended annually by Queen Elizabeth, on Twitter saying:
"The cheek of me ... I don't belong there but had SO much fun."

Mairead wore a custom Laura Jayne Halton dress, the Irish designer whose star is rising faster than we can count with celebrity fans including Sarah Jessica Parker and also being worn by Ireland's first female US ambassador at a White House event in March.
Her designs were brought to prominence when Irish Oscar hopeful Fodhla Cronin O'Reilly wore one of her creations at last year's Academy Awards.
Mairead revealed last year that the experience of Royal Ascot is unforgettable.
"It's this whole other world," Mairead laughed. "Filled with very horsey people. It was a great few days away and I even won €10, which I was delighted about," she said.
