She has built her career on style and fashion, but model-mum Pippa O'Connor admits she doesn't usually think about her outfit choices.

The 30-year-old insists she can usually be found in casual clothes from the high street.

And even with a wardrobe bursting with options, the Kildare native confessed she rarely thinks ahead when it comes to dressing for events.

"I don't usually get around to thinking about those kind of things until the week of, or the days before an event," she told the Irish Daily Star's CHIC Magazine.

"I'm lucky in that I'm often in a position where I can borrow a lot of the clothes I wear to big events which is great.

"Otherwise I like to think my wardrobe is full of high street pieces."

The VIP Style Awards 'Most Stylish Woman' recipient is currently preparing to judge Best Dressed Lady at the Dublin Horse Show.

The mum-of-one has been attending the event for over twenty years to support her champion show jumper brother Cian, but this is her first time as a judge for Ladies Day.

"It's always such an enjoyable day. There's just such a good atmosphere at the RDS. But I'm really excited to be going in a different capacity this year."

"Usually I would go fairly casual in a jeans and blazer but I'll have to step things up a gear now.

"It's a long day in high heels, but you know what they say, no pain no gain," she laughs.
