It's official - Ivanka and Melania Trump are the new first ladies of style.

The US First Lady and First Daughter are modernising ladylike fashion. With Melania clearly taking inspiration from Jackie O, Ivanka has continued with her trademark polished and professional personal style. And there might even be a few subtle nods to their political alliances with their outfit choices.

For the inauguration ceremony, she wore an all white pantsuit by Oscar de la Renta. It's not clear if she wore the colour as a nod to the suffragette movement like Hillary Clinton.
