It's a case of new season, new hairstyle for Jamie Heaslip.

The Irish rugby star debuted his new hip hair for a charity photocall today and his new slicked back 'do was more reminiscent of reality tv star Scott Disick than the rugged look the athlete usually sports.

Heaslip was on hand to support the Calcutta Run a fundraising day in aid of GOAL and the Peter McVerry Trust and he happily showed his soft side posing with children to highlight the day.

And even Keeping Up With the Kardashians' Disick would be proud of his new style.

Jamie now joins the ranks of teammate Ian Madigan, who is famous for his perfectly coiffed locks.

Heaslip is famously protective about his private life off the pitch, but he was more than happy to pose and play for the camera in the name of a good cause.

He recently found himself in the headlines after a fan wrote to Brian O'Driscoll making fun of his dance moves, which the fan saw while they both attended the same Kodaline concert after Ireland's Six Nations victory.

"Unlucky @jamieheaslip getting owned by a 12 year old! #thisweeksletter," he wrote on his Twitter page.

"By the way Brian, I hope you're a better dancer than Jamie Heaslip," the letter says.

"I saw him at the Kodaline concert on Sunday and he has two left feet! But then again, he is from Kildare, so we'll have to make allowances."

As part of the Calcutta Run, legal staff across Ireland are organising separate events including cake sales and used book sales to raise funds for the charity.

This year's Calcutta Run takes place on May 17th.
