SPRING/summer 2014 at BT2 is all about cool streetwear, from dynamic print and pattern at House of Holland to sexy silhouette in a ‘lampshade' skirted dress from French brand Maje.

Girly dresses come with a designer punch but at a friendly price point. Brands like Californian favourite, Clover Canyon, Finders Keepers and Needle & Thread with their elaborate surface detail and affordable beaded frocks will certainly turn heads.

There was lots of interest in the ‘new girl' yesterday as the BT2 press day spilled out on to Grafton Street.

LaDress are famed for its multi-wearable pieces, and by combining different accessories, you can morph your look from daytime duties to fashion pal for night-time cocktails.

Expect your kneecaps to be liberated as distressed, ripped jeans come back into vogue.

And when you consider fashion cults this season, you cannot ignore the double Bs – the biker and bomber jacket and both can be worn on the shoulder for that ‘power dressing' look.
