The best of Irish fashion will be showcased in Manhattan during New York Fashion Week, with 10 designers showing their Spring/Summer 2016 collections on Park Avenue at the Irish Consulate.

Leather artisan Una Burke, Helen Steele, Heidi Higgins, Fee G, House of Delphine, Lucy Nagle, Jennifer Rothwell, Caroline Matthews, jewellery designer Chupi Sweetman-Durnan and Tralee milliner Carol Kennelly will all be showing at the inaugural Ireland Fashion Showcase on Thursday, September 10.

Don O'Neill, creative director of Theia, will be a special guest.

The aim of the event, co-ordinated by Marietta Doran and Orla Diffily and supported by Irish Design 2015, is to enhance the profile of our emerging designer talents. Many will go straight to London Fashion Week.
