Designer comes back to his roots for latest launch

Peter O'Brien, the Finglas boy who became one of Paris's most respected couturiers returned to the place of his first job in Arnotts of Henry Street yesterday to launch his new bespoke fashion range, a case of Haute Couture to High Street .
O'Brien's collaboration with Arnotts is a limited edition, bespoke collection of coats, dresses and separates which went on sale today costing from €110 - €495.
With a colour palette limited to black, navy, camel and ivory, O'Brien set out to create a classically timeless capsule wardrobe that will work for years, irrespective of trends and fashion fetishes.
The fitted wool crepe dress with grosgrain which is €295, and the camel crepe fitted dress with belt for €290 are both perfect examples of O'Brien's simple designs.
The collection comprises of 23 pieces with wool cashmere coats, silk chiffon blouses and wool crepe dresses, skirt and trousers.
