OUR travel wanderlust may be restricted by budgetary cutbacks, but that hasn't stopped our wardrobes from travelling the world.

This season, the first stop is chic safari and a simple palette of khakis, taupes and tans, which will take us a long way from Irish shores -- weather permitting, of course.

Add some tobaccos, camel and stone, and the mix and match colours will prove that five core pieces can stretch over a dozen combination looks -- and the tightest of budgets.

Irish high street brand AWear yesterday revealed some top-to tail outfits coming in at a wallet-pleasing €100 or less. Most impressive were the luxe-feel separates, chic tops and skirts, which had a sense of European sophistication but carried a price tag of just €35 each.
