Mary Greene founded Divine boutique in 2005 with a vision of creating a shopping experience that focused on individuality. Divine has recently launched their ‘One Night Only’ occasion-wear hire service. I took a look into Mary’s wardrobe to see just how she manages to do her version of effortless chic on a daily basis...

First fashion memory

My Uncle Danny buying me a brown velvet dress which I I adored (and I was only two years old).

Favourite designer label

Oh that’s a tough question!! So many... Valentino for couture, Chanel for classics and Stella McCartney for her relaxed look. I am also a big fan of Irish designers Kate & Ava.

Favourite high street store

Urban Outfitters, it has been a big influence for Divine, I love the mix of girly and funky.

Best bargain buy

A Halston Dress reduced by 70%. I drooled over it for months then one day I came across it on a sale rail!

Most expensive item in your wardrobe

Chloe Handbag, a present from my wonderful mum.

Top of your wish list

Chanel quilted bag.

Most stylist moment

Divines first fashion show in the Loft, Powerscourt Town Centre, styled by one of my favourite stylists Aisling Farinella.

Biggest fashion faux pas

I like to have fun with fashion so I don’t really regret anything. But now that I think of it my perm and two tone jeans in my teens make me cringe!

Style icon

Corrine Roitfeld

Era you’d love to have lived in

The 1960s

Fashion or style?

Always style

Finally, what did you have for breakfast this morning!?

Porridge with honey and a scone with jam.
