Clever Couture: Prada from catwalk to high street

Miuccia Prada is arguably fashion's most respected maverick. She dances to the beat of her own drum and is never afraid to be devilishly bold and brave.
Her current collection is chock-full of fun from banana-print skirts to monkey-print jackets and a riot of colour to boot.
It's rare that the high street is heroic enough to interpret her madness for us to affordably consume. However, the tamer looks, including her brightly coloured stripes and sombrero hats, have trickled down to masses.
The basics are there, so the finishing touches are up to you.
Perfectly formed finger-wave curls, reminiscent of 1920s star Josephine Baker, may prove tricky but a slick side parting is easily achieved.
As for make-up, a shot of silver eye shadow will give a great runway edge.
