Clever couture: Lanvin for H&M

Chaos hit H&M this week as store floors turned into battlefields full of warring fashionistas desperate for a piece of the Lanvin for H&M collection.
Shoppers had nothing but a 15-minute browsing time limit to achieve their goal. These dictator-like shopping rules were implemented to prevent people from profiteering from the collection by selling it at bumped up prices on eBay. The whole experience sounded more like a desperate mob trying to get a seat on the last spaceship out of earth before Armageddon hits, rather than a fun shopping excursion with friends!
If being pushed to buy a dress on your day off wasn't your idea of fun and you missed the collection, fret not as the high street is awash with Lanvin-inspired pieces, minus the riot squad wrestling with you to buy them!
Look for asymmetric one-shoulder dresses from Warehouse, marabou-feather jackets in Monsoon and black lace separates in Oasis. No queuing required!
