Tribal and ethnic influences abound this season. We're not talking about drifty, hippie style; it's far sharper and edgier than that. Marc Jacobs combined his African print dresses with metallic bags while Givenchy used Arabic influences in sombre tones to create graphic patterns.
As for Gucci, there's no better label to give something as traditional as Ikat prints a super sexy edge. Sky-high, biker inspired heels and body-gripping silhouettes with cut-out detailing instantly energise the glamour. It makes a refreshing change to the perennial floral print.
This geometric print shift dress with beaded cap sleeves is perfect with these towering heels. Their platform sole and intricately woven detailing have a native Indian appeal and look seriously high fashion.
