MILLY COMES TO ARNOTTS

American label Milly is one of several new brands being introduced to Arnotts this season. It will stock both Milly womenswear – which has an urban, sporty, American feel, while still being feminine – and the label's accessories; the bag shapes are clean and square. The label favours bold, bright colours – the sort of thing that Jessica Alba prefers. Olivia Palermo, Kate Middleton, Gwyneth Paltrow and Beyonce are all fans. Pre-Milly, Designer Michelle Smith interned at Hermes in Paris; she was the first American employee of the company to be sent to the Paris house. She also interned at Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior Haute Couture. None of which can have harmed the quality-control of her own label.
