Vigilant Beckhams keep watchful eye on Brooklyn's booming Instagram account

It seems that Brooklyn Beckham is subject to the same parental controls that ordinary teenagers bemoan on a daily basis.

The handsome youngster has amassed over four million followers on Instagram.

However Brooklyn isn't in full charge of his social media account.

His parents, Victoria and David have told ABC news that they screen everything that their eldest son posts online.

“It’s hard because our16-year-old son, Brooklyn, he’s got like four million Instagram followers.

“We control everything that he posts, everything that he does, and it’s the same with our other kids," David said.

The doting father also revealed that Victoria is the “strict one in the house” and admitted he can’t stop his kids from following their dreams.

Even if that means they don’t follow him onto the professional football field.

“I'd love them to play soccer, but I want them to be happy doing it, you know,” David explained.

“There was one thing that one of my boys turned around to me the other day, he said, ‘Daddy, you know, I'm not sure I want to play football all the time’.

“It broke my heart a little bit.

“Every time that I step onto the field, I know people are saying, you know, ‘This is David Beckham's son,’ and if I'm not as good as you, then it's not good enough.'

"I said, ‘Okay, stop right there…You play because you want to play. You play because it makes you happy.’”

Daddy Beckham has your back, kids.
