This weekend I'm spending with my fiancee, Sarah Crosbie
And our 19-week-old son Jack, who is such fun to be with. We have been at the Millstreet Show during the week and tonight we will go for dinner at The K Club (above) in Straffan. It's home from home as John or Remy will look after us on arrival and head chef Finbar Higgins is a total perfectionist.
The prawns and the fillet steak are my favourites but tonight I'll go for the sole, off-the-bone, with a salad as I'm trying to watch my weight. The rice pudding with raspberries is a treat, and might be on the cards.
Tomorrow I hope to drive home to see my family in Monaghan ( Lough Egish) and to look at some of the broodmares and young stock.
I've recorded all three days of TV coverage from the RDS, so I will watch that back and listen to radio coverage over five days and see what I think needs to be improved on from a performance point of view.
Later, I will watch a few episodes of The Good Wife, which I've recorded. Great show. If Sarah gets her hands on the remote, we will have to watch the soaps.
