Rooney Holiday Drama: Coleen’s brother rescues drowning business man from the deep end of Barbados pool
Pregnant Coleen Rooney is believed to have been left shaken after her brother saved the life of a British business tycoon at their luxury resort in Barbados this week.
The wife of footballer Wayne Rooney and her young sons Kai and Klay watched as Anthony McLoughlin (26) dived to the aid of Fraser Milne, who had gotten into difficulty in the deep end of the pool.
Coleen, who is heavily pregnant with her third child, looked on frantically as her father Tony and Anthony pulled Fraser to safety.
Speaking to the Sunday Mirror Fraser said: “If Anthony hadn’t dived into the pool and saved me I wouldn’t have survived.
“Coleen was at the side and checking how I was. She is lovely,” he said.
Fraser is at the helm of FWN Investment Group and is holidaying at the luxurious Sandy Lane Hotel in Bridgetown.
“I suddenly got to eight foot and I slipped and went under.
“I was splashing around and started to lose consciousness. That was when Anthony came in and got me,” said Fraser.
“I was very shaken but I’m alright. I gave Anthony a bottle of champagne. It was the least I could do,” he said.
Anthony later took to Instagram to tell his followers about the events of the dramatic day.
“I saved a Scottish man from drowning yesterday. Lifeguard course 5 years ago come in handy,” he revealed.
The family are holidaying without Wayne, who yesterday scored in Man United’s 3-0 win at Everton.
