Lindsay Lohan has revealed she has her eye on Barack Obama’s job and expressed an intention to run for President in 2020.

The Mean Girls actress envisions herself in the Oval Office and credited Queen Elizabeth II for inspiring her.

“In #2020 I may run for president,” Lindsay revealed on Instagram, sharing a photograph of herself at The White House Correspondent’s Dinner in 2012.

“Through ups and downs #YESWECAN lets do this,” she said.

"The first thing I would like to do as president of [the United States] is take care of all the children suffering in the world," she wrote.

"#queenELIZABETH showed me how by having me in her country."

The star thanked President Barack Obama for “inspiring” her to be a better person and revealed that by 2020, she will have 34 years of experience behind her which will make her an appropriate candidate.

Lindsay is not the first celebrity to express an interest in the presidential run in 2020, as Kanye West has already admitted his desire to run for President.

The rapper made the announcement at the 2015 MTV VMAs two months ago. Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres,  Kanye’s wife Kim Kardashian revealed that he would want to redecorate the entire White House to his taste.

"I was joking with him, I was like, 'You’re going to have to make it to a second term,' because he loves redecorating," said Kim.

"So I was like, 'You're going to want to redo the whole White House, and we're not going to be able to enjoy it.'"
