Global chart topper Katy Perry has offered her services to US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
The singer, who has sold 81 million singles worldwide, posted a photo to her Instagram account posing with the former First Lady.
Perry wrote to her 5.5 million followers:
"I told @hillaryclinton that I would write her a ‘theme’ song if she needs it..."
The photo showed the two women with Hillary’s new book ‘Hard Choices’ and was liked a staggering 345,000 times.
Hillary was quick to respond via Twitter, posting:
Rather fittingly, the lyrics of Katy’s 2013 hit refer to a woman who pushes ‘past the breaking point’ to find her voice.
.@katyperry Well that’s not a Hard Choice. You already did! Keep letting us hear you Roar.— Hillary Clinton (@HillaryClinton) June 22, 2014
Hillary maintains she has no plans to announce a run for president just yet.
However, the 66-year-old told legendary US news anchor Diane Sawyer that she will make a definite decision on the matter before the end of the year.
