It’s a date: Ronan Keating set to marry Storm on August 17... just four months after engagement
It won’t be a long engagement for Ronan Keating and his fiancée Storm Uechtritz as the couple will marry in less than a fortnight on August 17.
The pair, who became engaged in April, will swap vows in Scotland in two weeks time in a romantic Edinburgh ceremony.
The former Boyzone star is believed to be marrying his Australian fiancée in Archerfield House and Golf Resort outside the city and will be booking out the property for four days to celebrate their union.
The 15 bedroom property costs €9,000 per night to rent and holds up to 200 guests if the couple choose to marry at the venue’s stunning waterfront.
However, the venue can squeeze in 80 guests should the couple choose a more intimate affair inside the hotel.
The estate is a favourite of Ronan’s and he often visits with his children, Jack (15) Missy (13) and Ali, nine, for family holidays and gold excursions.
Ronan revealed that Scotland is “neutral” ground for the couple’s wedding.
''All of our families are going to be there - everyone. Rather than doing it in Australia or in Ireland we said we'd go to neutral ground and meet there. It's a very special place for us,” said Ronan speaking to The Herald.
''I'm just in charge of the music and entertainment. Maybe Boyzone will perform - we'll all be there so it would be rude not to do something.''
The Australian-based couple will move to Ireland after their nuptials to be closer to Ronan’s children which he had with ex-wife Yvonne Connolly.
''We're looking for a house at the moment.
“It's very hard - there's nothing here, we're really struggling.''
Last week the Life is a Rollercoaster singer spoke of his ex-wife’s decision to return to her maiden name after their divorce was finalised earlier this year.
“It’s her decision – it’s great. Good on her,” Ronan told the Herald.
