Irish CBB star Jeremy McConnell bottled on street but denies being punched by Stephanie Davis
Celebrity Big Brother star Jeremy McConnell has admitted that he was attacked by a “low-life” in Liverpool this weekend, and denied reports that his girlfriend Stephanie was behind his black eye.
The Dublin-born model shared an image of himself sporting a shiner on his Snapchat this weekend, and admitted that a bottle was thrown at him on a Liverpool street.
"Best night last night with loved ones and for the low life that threw a bottle at my face on way home and ran. Say you feel hard as nails," he wrote on Twitter yesterday.
The tattooed model defended his girlfriend Stephanie Davis, after fans suggested that she had been the one to give the star a shiner.
“People try to say Steph attacked me,” he wrote.
“Give us a day off,” he said.

The pair have been in a tumultuous relationship since they left the Celebrity Brother House, and have been plagued with media reports of infidelity.
Meanwhile, Jeremy’s pal Marc O’Neill slammed the relationship with Stephanie earlier this month and said it’s “f**king creepy”.
The Biochemistry graduate, who featured on TV3's Tallafornia and Big Brother, has known Jeremy, a former Mr Ireland contestant, for years on the Dublin social scene. But he had some choice words for his burgeoning romance with former Hollyoaks actress Stephanie, whom he met in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
"That's not Jeremy, that's him acting like a f***ing f*nny. If it was me, I'd turn my phone off and never see her again. It's the only way," he told New Magazine.
McConnell recently purchased a commitment ring for his new girlfriend - another thing Marc took issue with: "I was nearly sick when I saw it. What an idiot. Is he f***ing twelve? Is he the Jonas Brothers now?”
