TV3's Anna Daly has said her son Rhys will be her last child and said she is relishing the opportunity to focus on her career once again.

Speaking to Irish Country magazine, the presenter said she is enjoying being back at the helm of the weekend show following her maternity leave.

"I'm back two months, almost three now and it's great, genuinely, I am finding it great," said Anna.

"I think it's more important than ever to be at work, because being at home with the children is the hardest gig of all.

"While I was on maternity leave, towards the end, I was really excited about coming back.

"Not that I don't want to hang out with my kids, I absolutely do, I adore them obviously, it goes without saying. But I do like to have my own thing going on, it's important to me as a person."

Anna has three children, James (6) Euan (4) and Rhys with her husband Ben Ward, who runs his own business.

However, Anna said after a busy six years adding to her family, she is thrilled to have the opportunity to focus on herself.

"I'm done having babies. We have a really nice setup at home and as cheesy as it sounds, it's my time to build my career. I would like to develop some ideas with TV3. There's a great team in place and it's a really good sign that they're investing in the right people to build the right schedule."
