Hosted by Miriam Ahern, famous faces in attendance at the bash included her daughter Cecelia, TV presenter and MC for the afternoon Blathnaid Ni Chofaigh and former Dublin Wives stars Lisa Murphy and Roz Flanagan.

The day came to an end with a fun filled raffle while the A-list guests continued on the fun with post-lunch cocktails at celebrity haunt House Dublin.

Bestselling author Cecelia (34) revealed that her six-year-old daughter Robyn has already inherited her daughter’s writing talent.

“Absolutely (she writes stories). It’s lovely. It’s important to me,” she told Independent.ie

“Children are by nature very imaginative. Irish people are natural storytellers.

“Even in the car when we play games, I would pick out three things for her and tell a story. I think it’s a natural thing.

The PS I Love You author also revealed a character in her book Flawed was based on her grandfather.

“In Flawed, the grandad is called Con after my grandad Cornelius,” she said.

“They do have the same spirit. I might take the essence of people or things people say but never a full person.

Socialite Roz, who serves on the committee for the bash said how happy she was to be a new grandmother.

“It’s an event we organise every year. This is a really nice lunch,” she said.
