Zoe Ball's cameraman boyfriend, Billy Yates, has been found dead at his London home aged 40.

Police were called to Billy's south London home at 6.40pm on Thursday after friends raised the alarm.

TV presenter Zoe Ball (46) began dating the Antiques Roadshow cameraman after her marriage to Fatboy Slim DJ, Norman Cook, broke down last September.

Billy's death is said to be "completely out of the blue".

"She is completely and utterly devastated," a source close to Zoe told the Sun.

"Billy had made her happy again after the most horrendous year when her marriage broke down.

"This is completely out of the blue. She had no feeling that this was coming and is in total shock."

Zoe posted a photo of a pink flower to her Instagram account on Friday morning, alongside the caption: "My sweet love".

On Thursday, the Strictly presenter shared a Samaritans tweet which read: "If it really doesn't feel like the force is with you today, we're here and ready to listen."

The tragic news come a day after Zoe spoke out about how she was embracing getting older and described the past few months with Billy as a "year of discovery".

Police say the death was not being treated as suspicious.
