Zoe Ball has broken her silence after she was pictured kissing an aspiring singer on a night out.

The popular presenter (45) has been married to Fatboy Slim, aka Norman Cook, for the last 16 years and hit headlines when she was pictured kissing Tay Tay Starzh (22) in December.

And Ball simply said her husband was "very patient" and praised his understanding nature.

"He has always said he wants his gravestone to read 'Norman was a very patient man' and that sums it up really," she told the Sunday Mirror.

"We have a good understanding of each other. We're both pretty down-to-earth and the reasons I fell in love with him and we found each other in the first place are still there."

She went on to praise the Grammy-winning DJ, saying: "Norman's always got time for people. He's just a beautiful, funny, charming man. He also loves his job and I love watching him make other people get and dance and have fun."

While the pair are both accustomed to careers in the public eye, she explained that they have a "retirement plan" and hope to run a pub when they both wrap up their glitzy showbiz jobs.
