Yvonne prepares to move out after Keatings sell €2.45m Abington home
Boyzone star Ronan Keating and his ex-partner Yvonne have sold their home in the Dublin's exclusive Abington estate.
The sale of the house, valued at €2.45m, marks the end of an era for the couple who went through a very public seperation in 2010.
The plush six-bedroomed mansion in the celeb-filled estate in Malahide had been on the market since last January. They are understood to be happy with the sale price achieved on the back of the surge in Dublin property prices, although the exact details of the deal have not been revealed.
A source said that they got close to the original asking price for No 50.
Former model Yvonne is now packing up the house and moving out with her three children Jack (15), Missy (13) and Ali (8).
The couple were in the process of building the sprawling property, which covered an area of over 6,000sq ft, when their marriage was rocked by claims Ronan had an affair with dancer Francine Cornell.
It included a games room, a bar, a dressing room, walk-in-wardrobes and a home gym.
After initially breaking up in 2010, Ronan and Yvonne finally decided to go their separate ways in 2011 but only put the house on the market earlier this year.
A source close to Yvonne revealed how she's looking forward to moving on with her new life with cameraman John Conroy.
"She's delighted that they've finally sold the house - it's like a whole new start for her. She's got three great kids, a guy she's mad about and she's now got an entirely fresh start," the friend said.
"She's over the moon about the sale going through and can start planning her future now."
Yvonne had previously indicated that she and the children will continue to live in the upmarket northside enclave as it's convenient for their schools.
Yvonne started dating cameraman boyfriend John in 2012, while Ronan is now dating television producer Strom Uechtritz.
