The Iron Man actor took to Twitter Wednesday to tell fans the news.

And in the message he pondered what his future daughter’s astrology sign might be.

“Yo. Susan. Me. Baby. Girl. November. Scorpio?” he thoughtfully tweeted.

The couple are already parents to two-year-old son Exton, and the Golden Globe-winning movie star is also father to 20-year-old son Indio, who he shares with ex-wife, Deborah Falconer. The actor tied the knot with Susan, a 40-year-old film producer, in 2005.

Robert’s baby announcement comes on the heels of news his eldest boy was admitted to rehab.

Indio is rumoured to be staying at Cliffside in Malibu to receive treatment for drug addiction. The young man has been to a rehabilitation centre before, but this time his family is hopeful that this stint will be successful.

“Bob not only knows about Indio's struggles, he's tried everything, as all parents do, including kicking Indio out of the family home, followed by boundaries and tough love. None has worked,” a friend explained to Mail Online. “Cliffside may work because it's got an approach that he will hopefully not resist. He is his father's son.”

Robert struggled with drug addiction himself for years. The Sherlock Holmes star endured several run-ins with the law, including an arrest for possession of heroin, cocaine and an unloaded handgun while speeding in his car and missing various drug tests. His downward spiral had serious consequences, as he spent nearly a year serving time at the California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility and State Prison in Corcoran, California, 15 years ago.
