X Factor viewing figures down despite big name stars

The X Factor's final viewing figures were down compared to last year, despite performances by some of the biggest names in showbiz.
Nearly 10 million people tuned in on Sunday as the talent show crowned its youngest ever winner, 17-year-old Louisa Johnson.
The finale marked the last live performance by One Direction before the band embarks on an extended break and their fans flooded social media with farewell messages.
It seems their performance worked to draw in a younger demographic, as the 16-34 audience share for the final was up from 44% last year to 48% this year.
However, viewing figures overall peaked at 9.9 million viewers and a 41% share of the audience near the end of the show.
Last year's finale peaked at around 10.5 million viewers.
This year's show had an average audience, between 8pm and 10.05pm, of around 8.4 million, while 2014's show had an average audience of 9.1 million viewers.
Coldplay and Adele - sitting at No 2 and No 1 in the album charts respectively - also performed.
Final voting percentages released by ITV show that Johnson garnered 53.9% of the votes cast during the final.
BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing results show peaked at 11.7 million on Sunday, as viewers tuned in to the semi-final to see Anita Rani leave the competition.
Strictly's average audience was 10.8 million viewers, still higher than the X Factor's peak for the same evening.
