Kim Kardashian has "zero desire to resume her old life" as she is reportedly fearful of having her photo taken while she is alone.
The reality tv star (35) is one of the most photographed women in the world and papped multiple times a day.
But since she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, in which five robbers dressed as police officers tied her up in a bathroom and stole $11m worth of jewellery, she has only left her Los Angeles home a handful of times and is afraid of being on her own.
"She has zero desire to resume her old life," an insider told People.
"Kim is still figuring out what she wants to do. She has no plans for any public appearances.”
The insider added that the media mogul has become "withdrawn" since the incident and will no longer leave her home without a bodyguard.
"She just wants to be with her kids and out of public. No one is pressuring her either. She has the best support from her family."
Kim recently cancelled an upcoming personal appearance at Hakkasan nighctlub in Vegas to celebrate her 36th birthday, a makeup event in Dubai and on Tuesday, her assistant Stephanie Sheppard explained that Kim is "taking some time off" from updating her app and social media.

"But not to worry - we've called upon Kim's closest friends, fam and yours truly to serve up some exclusives," she wrote.
"Stay tuned for new posts and app takeovers!
"Thanks so much for your support for my girl."
The mother-of-two has also avoided any "personal interactions" with fans.
"Kim's whole life has basically changed,” a second insider added.
"Before, she was like a social butterfly. Now she acts much more withdrawn.”
Her mother Kris Jenner said her daughter is taking it "one day at a time and is doing "what a mother does" in supporting her.
"It's a process. One day at a time. It's a process," she told E! News.
